First half
We elect to play up the slope and Broadwalk kick off. We quickly claim possession and Thomas finds Alex Y-S who wins us an early corner. Broadwalk then attack but Ashley claims the ball and an excellent goal kick finds Alex Y-S, who draws the last defender before passing to Isaac who fires home, 1 - 0! Broadwalk respond with an attack and win a corner. The ball falls to a Broadwalk player but his shot is well blocked by Brooke. More Broadwalk pressure sees a good shot hit our crossbar and bounce over.
We are back on the attack and win a corner. Some nice interplay between Isaac and Sean before Broadwalk finally clear and get back on the attack, Ashley is called upon to make another save and Brooke clears the rebound for a corner. Broadwalk are enjoying a good spell of attacking. One shot goes wide, before Broadwalk cross the ball for what looks a certain tap in, but Ashley makes a great blocking clearance with his feet to preserve our 1 - 0 lead.
We now break and Isaac almost scores a 2nd. Alex Y-S then breaks, finds Isaac whose shot hits the post and Thomas shoots the rebound just wide. A third attack follows, this time Isaac finds Alex Y-S at the near post and he taps home to make it 2 - 0! We are taking control and from the Broadwalk kick-off, Isaac puts pressure on the nervous Broadwalk defender who concedes a corner.
Broadwalk launch a rare attack but Tejay makes a good tackle before clearing strongly. We attack again and Sean sees his shot tipped around the post by the keeper.
Half time is approaching, Isaac wins possession and hits a great pass to Alex Y-S who calmly slots the ball home, 3 - 0!
Broadwalk win a corner, Tejay clears, but a goal mouth scramble follows, Ashley saves well and the half time whistle sounds.
2nd half
The early minutes see few chances for either side. Tejay is right on his game now and dealing confidently with any danger. We then launch an attack, the ball falls to Alex Y-S who beats 2 defenders before scoring. 4 - 0 and an excellent hat-trick for Alex!
We are playing well and passing the ball confidently and staying calm at the back. A Broadwalk corner is cleared by Tejay before Isaac attacks again but can't quite covert this time as the keeper saves bravely and then from an immediate counter attack, Broadwalk surprise us and score to make it 4 - 1, (5 -3 on aggregate) and there are 5 minutes still to play.
We don't panic and a great right footed shot from Isaac goes just wide. Another Broadwalk attack is cleared by Brooke for a corner. We clear and Thomas breaks strongly and wins a throw in deep in the Broadwalk half.
Brooke continues to thwart the late Broadwalk attacks. Ollie replaces Sean.
A few more attacks by each team come to nothing, the final whistle sounds and a great win is completed. Final score 4 - 1, and great credit to the team with players adapting well to the changes that had to be made to the lineup.

A great performance that gives us the chance of finishing the league in 5th place if Broadwalk fail to win both their last 2 games. It was also a great improvement on the defeat we suffered at Broadwalk earlier in the season.
